Grandparents & Me Camp
A three and 1/2 day camp for grandparent(s) and young children, ages 5-12, to share a very special time together. Our theme is “Pray!” The camp experience is designed to explore opportunities to understand how everything we do is a prayer to God. This program will help campers learn about prayer through reflection of five biblical texts. There will also be opportunities to learn about prayer from one another, trying different prayer forms, worship, and a variety of activities. Everyone will be encouraged to see God at work in every aspect of their lives and to discover how God is alive in the people of the world.
Camp Pioneer
Dates: July 12-17, 2010

Camp Pioneer is designed for persons who are mentally challenged, 18 years and older, ambulatory, able to provide basic self-care, and who possess independent living skills. The campers take part in a variety of experiences while at Camp. There are opportunities to learn about God and God’s love through chapel, bible study and community activities. Hiking, crafts, swimming, and other outdoor activities are also part of the camp experience.
